click link --->Parent Flyer- Understanding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
The Children's Trust Parent Club in partnership with Florida International University's Center for Children and Families is offering a parent training workshop about Understanding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The workshop will be conducted in person on 10/22/25 at 9:00 AM in the Historic Cafe. The workshop is approximately 45 - 60 minutes and includes a question/answer period. The workshop will provide an overview of the diagnosis, treatment, ADHD through the years and what would be "next steps". Parents will increase their awareness and understanding of the condition as well as receive some evidence-based practices they can use at home. At each workshop, participants will be provided with resources and will receive an entry into a raffle drawing with the completion of a short post-workshop survey.
